Independent arts and event producer, communicator, adviser, facilitator and QR coderist based in Liverpool, UK.

Currently studying Letting and property Management through NFoPP & Housing Level 2

For the last year, I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls, a jobseeker and DIY/Housing aficionado.


Live previous motherhood included

being Artistic and Executive Director of moves- International Festival of Movement on Screen (UK) and an active collaborator and member of the selection for competition team at VAD Video and Digital Arts International Festival  (Spain) and GRESOL art association (MaMa Festival & FEM Festival, Spain). 

Honours Degree in Fine Arts and Master in Arts Communication and Arts Criticism. She has worked with artists and creative business in cultural management, production and communication since 2001.

Co-founder of La Plataforma, a platform for the promotion of Cultural Activities and

Contemporary Art (2001-2007, Spain).

Gala has worked as producer, communicator & advisor in festivals, associations and institutions in Spain, France and the UK including: Futureeverything, folly, VAD Festival, Collections Saint Cyprien, REMOR, NU2 or TILT Festival amongst others.

I also have been guest lecturer in Videoart, Screendance, net.art & digital marketing at MMU Manchester, ERAM (Escola de Realització Audiovisual i Multimèdia, Spain), EMA (Escola Municipal d’Art, Spain) or Festival Tens Dansa (Spain). 

I have published various essays and texts on Contemporary Art such as Alternative Routes (Liverpool, 2011), From Media to New Media (Barcelona, 2009), Poetries, speculations and conclusions. Short and incoherent (or not ;-}) deliberations about net.art (Girona, 2006) and artists such as Rimas Sakalauskas, Carles Pujol, Dani Martí or Claudio Zulian.
